Vivi May '10 issue part 1 *pic heavy*

Here are some pages from the Japanese magazine Vivi. I will be making this a two part post as there's lots of cute items to share! I hope you enjoy =)

I'm sure that with some of the upcoming Sex and the City 2 movie being set in Abu Dhabi will cause the already present boho chic trend to overload! I think it will create a move towards the bold colours though.These pieces of jewellery look very pretty though, I love all the vibrant colours.

I must say I'm a fan of the boho chic look myself. I always love clothes that are pretty AND comfortable!

I ADORE the dress on the top left here! The nude colour is very nice and the layers and flow of the material is gorgeous!♥

I think the outfit towards the top left here is super cute! <3 the open waistcoat and fedora giving the dress that extra bit of style.♥

New piece

As promised! Here is the new piece. I made this a few weeks back but with the stress of exams and limited time between study, rest and rare moments I get with my bf I just had no time to post it =( Until now! =) I haven't named this piece yet. This one means alot to me personally as the gorgeous star charm was a present from my boyfriend. I love stars =) And I love shiny things, so obviously a shiny star with a super pretty stone in the middle is right up my alley! There's also a Swarovski crystal heart and bicone on a silver chain. Simple but I love it.

There is just a simple lobster clasp at the back. Like I said I haven't named this piece so I'd love to hear your suggestions <3

EDIT: I've decided on a name! It's now called 'First Love'. My boyfriend came up with it and many reasons why it should be called so and well I couldn't argue with him =P
So First Love it is! ♥

Zac ♥

I remembered this after my post last night. This song is so incredibly beautiful! I've been listening to it constantly the past few days. Some of you may also have already heard it in my mixpod here on my blog. Now I'll admitt I'm a lil biased because Chuck is my FAV show and I think Zachary Levi is just a lil..well alot dreamy =P But it is an amazingly peaceful song and Katharine has a very pure voice and she makes it seem effortlessly beautiful. Plus, it's got Zac singing in it, what more do you need?! he he Check it out;



For those who don't know about Chuck, I beg you to watch it! It's cute, funny, the good kind of silly, full of action and has hot guys and girls in it (I'll just be clear that I'm straight, but know when a girl's got it! =P ). I don't wana give away any bit of the plot so I'll leave ye find out for yerselves. To anyone who already watches it or will watch it now your amazingly awesome!! =D

That voice..

Phew, I've got a few days break until my next and last few exams so I'm gona make a post or two while I can! =) So far they have been going grand, yesterday and today's exams were the most stressful =__= But hopefully the worst is over now! And I'm going to rest and get to see my boyfriend for the weekend *yay*

Well I woke up this morning to check twitter and find Hayley Williams of Paramore linking to this video and I was impressed! Everyone seems to be talking about this kid today and I'm not surprised! He has a great voice and Lady Gaga songs aren't the easiest to cover. Also I know from experience that playing piano and singing at the same time can be quite difficult T.T Check him out for yourself here:

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

I've been neglecting my blog so much lately!! Feel so bad >.< If it makes it any better it's because I've actually been studying *a bit* XP I can never study for exams, it's so boring and stifling. I always leave it until the last minute! My exams start tomorrow and will be going on right up to the very end of May -__- So the tumbleweeds will be blowing across my blog for awhile longer I'm afraid.

So this is just a sort post to explain my disappearance and let you all know I'm still alive! I meant to post about a new piece I made recently but I ended up going to visit my boyfriend in his new place instead! I'll try and get it up as soon as my exams end. Any free time I've had lately has been spent catching up with shows or sleeping so it just hasn't been possible lately XP Such a boring life! Anywho I hope you all have a more enjoyable May than I will!
